Founded in 1070–72 by the Almoravids, Marrakesh remained a political, economic and cultural centre for a long period. Its influence was felt throughout the western Muslim world, from North Africa to Andalusia. It has several impressive monuments dating from that period: the Koutoubiya Mosque, the Kasbah, the battlements, monumental doors, gardens, etc. Later architectural jewels include the Bandiâ Palace, the Ben Youssef Madrasa, the Saadian Tombs, several great residences and Place Jamaâ El Fna, a veritable open-air theatre.Marrakech offers a wide variety of accommodations including many recently renovated homes and palaces.
Day 1:
Your representative, welcomes you on arrival to Marrakesh. Check in and overnight accommodation at your hotel .
Day 2:
After breakfast , There is so much to see the first day exploring, time will fly by. Founded in the 11th century by the Almoravide dynasty, Marrakech has a plethora of palaces and gardens to visit as well as:
Historical tour of Marrakesh. Founded in 1070 by the Almoravide dynasty , Marrakesh has several times been designated capital of Morocco which explains it’s wealth of historical monuments , the best of which we cover in this half day tour : The Koutoubia Mosque, the Saadien Tombs, the Bahia palace Lunch at a Moroccan restaurant situated in the medina ( old part of town ) We then proceed to the souks a maze of hundreds of shops, small streets and narrow alleyways. This is indeed a feast for the senses with row after row of spices, Perfumed oils, Magic potions, Silver, Gold, Brass,Slippers, Leather goods and of course the lovely carpetsand rugs. This is just a small idea of what you will find in the souks.Overnight at your hotel .
Day 3:
After breakfast, morning at leisure for a final plunge into the atmosphere of Marrakech, transfer to Marrakech airport for your departing flight.
